If you want to support businesses in Canada, specifically Asian-owned ones, there's an app that can help you find a bunch of them.

Shopify's mobile shopping assistant app Shop now has a new feature that helps you discover and shop from Asian-owned brands.

In the app, you just have to go to the shopping tab and then you'll see a tappable section that takes you to a list of Asian-owned businesses you can shop from.

There are 60 brands featured with this including Canadian ones like Vessi, Moo Shu Ice Cream & Kitchen, Theresa Duong Arts, I'll Know It When I See It, Asom and MXPC.

Following shootings in the U.S. that killed Asian women, the federal government spoke out against anti-Asian racism and Jagmeet Singh said Canada isn't immune to that kind of hate.
