You Can Get Massive Drinks Bigger Than Your Head At This Atlanta Restaurant

Plenty of alcohol to go around at this joint!
Contributor

Georgia has oodles of bars and eateries to get your bite and booze on. And if you're really feeling ready to party, one spot takes the saying "go big or go home" to the next level. A restaurant in Atlanta, The Nook, has massive drinks that'll sing to the heart of sippers.

The Nook on Piedmont Avenue has been serving up dishes since 2009. Not only does it have a menu packed with savory snacks and foods for you to eat your fill, but they also serve up drinks that are bigger than your head!

Their famous one-gallon fishbowls are worth trying and are the perfect cocktails to share with friends. No judgment if you don't feel like sharing, though.

The restaurant holds Fishbowl Fridays, where they release a new flavor for one day only.

A previous $30 special offering was called The Pina CranLada, made with a 1/2 pint of coconut Smirnoff, 1/2 pint of pineapple Smirnoff, cranberry juice, grenadine, and lemonade — aka an absolute monster of a drink.

While these drinks may be one of the more popular options, they also serve giant Moscow Mules, as well as seriously stacked bloody marys.

The bloody marys come loaded with pepper vodka, pepperoncini's, jalapeños, tater tots, steak, toast, lemon, lime, and a hard-boiled egg. Pro-tip: ask your server for a beef straw.

To soak up some of that alcohol, you might want to try their famous "totchos," also known as tater-tot nachos. There are nine variations of this greasy goodness — even a five-pound plate for larger groups or those up for a food challenge.

They've also got a patio area that's the perfect spot to watch the game, hang out with friends, or to enjoy a Sunday afternoon brunch session as you sip your massive drinks.

Since it's right across the street from Piedmont Park, grabbing some eats to-go and heading over for a picnic may just make for a great weekend day date with your BFF.
