If there's one gorgeous gem in the Lone Star State worth checking out, it's the Texas Hill Country. Not only is there so much to do and see, but flowers and other wildlife flourish in this particular spot where few humans call home. For those interested in taking in a good chunk of what this part of Texas has to offer, the Willow City Loop in Fredericksburg is exactly where you'll want to go.

Willow City Loop is 13 miles of pure beauty, especially from March through May when wildflower season is in full bloom.

During that time, you're able to see the state's flower at its peak, and maybe even stop for some photos with fields covered with them.

Other wildflowers you may see year-round include Indian Paintbrush, Mexican Poppies, Sunflowers Phlox, and Coreopsis.

Depending on where you're at during your drive, you could wind up high enough in the sky to get a view of everything beneath you.

This is a peak spot for photo taking, or just hopping out of your car and getting some fresh air.

Creeks, wildlife, massive trees, and more will greet you no matter where you're at on the loop.

According to their website, driving through the scenic landscape on weekends can get hectic with the number of other cars on the road with you as well.

Visiting during the week is encouraged for those who want more room to themselves, but visiting on weekends is still welcomed and you'll get tons of great views either way.

For directions on how to successfully find and drive down the beautiful scenic loop, you can visit Fredericksburg's website.

The sooner you find it, the sooner you can get to enjoy your day in the gorgeous Texas Hill Country.
