Environment Canada has issued a warning about some potentially hazardous B.C. weather on Friday, March 12.

Snowfall warnings are in place for Williston, the North Coast, and B.C.'s Peace River Region.

There are also special weather statements for wind and storms in several other areas. 

According to Environment Canada, some areas can expect up to 20 centimetres of snow to accumulate overnight.

"Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow," says the warning.
