Canada's Top Hotels Were Just Revealed & They're Spread Out All Over The Country (PHOTOS)

It will cost you to stay, though!💰
Managing Editor, Canada

If you were wondering where the best hotels in Canada were located, this new report may have found the answers!

Combining factors like industry awards, hotel star ratings and user reviews, the U.S. News & World Report has picked out the top 25 places to stay in the country — and it seems there’s a world-class option in so many different regions.

From glamorous Ritz-Carlton city locations to secluded getaways on quiet islands, here's a look at some of Canada's finest five-star properties.

The Ritz-Carlton Montréal

This dreamy location in downtown Montreal is fully equipped with all of the comforts you'd expect from a five-star residence.

All rooms come with a 47-inch TV, in addition to rain showers and heated toilet seats in the bathroom.

There’s a fitness centre and a rooftop pool here, as well as a beautiful garden and a peaceful terrace.

Oh, and there’s a flat-screen TV in the bathroom, too.

Rosewood Hotel Georgia

Across the country, you’ll find the luxury Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver.

This dreamy spot has some of the best views of the city skyline and the staff apparently go above and beyond to make guests feel “like royalty.”

In addition to a spa and pool area, you’ll find a jaw-dropping garden terrace and a swanky restaurant, as well as a relaxing bar and lounge.

Sounds nice, eh?

Fogo Island Inn

Perhaps the most unique hotel on the list, Fogo Island Inn is actually held up by stilts!

It has major spaceship vibes and a one-of-a-kind architectural design that would be difficult to forget in a hurry.

Located off the northeast coast of Newfoundland, it’s secluded and quiet, but you won’t be without conveniences.

There’s a fitness centre, rooftop deck, a theatre, an art gallery, a library, a lounge, bar and restaurant, and 29 totally incredible suites.

The ocean views might change your life — but you’ll pay big bucks for the privilege of such an unusual experience!

Ritz-Carlton Toronto

Yet another Ritz-Carlton location, but this time it’s in Toronto.

Praised for its central location and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city, this hotel was praised for its “particularly impressive” bathrooms.

You’ll find a rain shower and a deep-soak tub in every single room, in addition to marble detailing throughout.

Like other locations on the list, guests will find an impressive array of dining facilities and leisure amenities here.

Fairmont Pacific Rim

Location, location, location! The Fairmont Pacific Rim earned top points on the list for its spectacular views of downtown Vancouver and the Coal Harbour waterfront.

Anyone looking to unwind can get pampered in the Willow Stream Spa or experience regionally sourced food at the beautiful Botanist.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler

Located on the base of Blackcomb Mountain, it’s easy to see why Whistler’s Four Seasons Resort and Residences would be considered one of Canada’s best.

In addition to its upscale facilities and “first-rate service,” the property’s surroundings are totally awe-inspiring.

You can lounge in the outdoor heated pool at any time of year to enjoy the scenery. Bliss!

Other hotspots on U.S. News & World’s list include the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Quebec City and the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Alberta, among others.

With the majority of these locations costing at least $200 for one night — or even as much as $469 — a stay in one of Canada’s best hotels won’t come cheap.
