This Teeny Tiny 'Container Bar' Is Calgarys Best Kept Secret (PHOTOS)

It's even dog friendly.

If you’re looking to escape the crowds we have the perfect thing for you. There is an adorable, and super tiny, container bar in Calgary that you need to hit up at least once. It's arguably one of the city's best-kept secrets.

Skip the massive bars and opt for something more quaint and intimate.

There is a literal shipping container that was repurposed to become a bar and it’s so cute and colourful.

Graffitied from top to bottom, this hidden container is stationed in the Kensington alleyway and has ample outdoor seating which is perfect for the hot weather we’ve been having lately.

Prior to this bar, the space in the alleyway was completely unused.

According to an email sent to Narcity by spokesperson Jacqueline Warrell, Owner and chef Cam Dobranski and the previous general manager saw this space as an opportunity.

The plan was to turn it into a super cool outdoor patio space that was made up of recycled, reused, and refurbished items.

There are also some locally sourced goods thrown into the mix.

In 2013, the bar was born and it's been serving up iconic cocktails and snacks ever since.

The bar is open every day until late which makes it the perfect place to go if you're in the mood for a late-night cocktail.

Their drink menu is amazing and their carefully curated list has some super unique flavours that will tickle anyone's fancy.

If you don’t see anything you like, just tell your bartender your favourite spirit. They'll whip you up something delicious that you’ve probably never had before.

Not only are the drinks and food amazing, but the entire ambiance of the place is adorable.

Everything is cute, colourful, and inviting. Plus the graffiti wall is the perfect spot to take an Instagram pic.

Right now, the restaurant is seating about 16 to 20 people.

Social distancing rules apply so be sure to only have six people per table.

The patio is also dog friendly and the staff strongly encourage you to bring your pooch.

It’s literally the perfect opportunity to get out of the house and try something new.
