Canada's most trusted brands and retailers have been revealed in a new poll.

Tim Hortons isn't one of the most trustworthy but a lot of other big retailers in Canada are.

Recently, Narcity asked Canadians to share which brands and retailers across the country are the most trusted.

With more than 130 comments on the Narcity Canada and MTLBlog Facebook posts, these are the brands and retailers people trust when spending their money.

Canadian Tire and Costco are the most trusted retailers in Canada, according to this Narcity poll.

Also, a few people said that Giant Tiger is their most trusted store in Canada.

There were fewer votes for these brands and retailers but they are still considered to be trustworthy. That includes Home Depot, Home Hardware, Molson, Winners, Zellers, London Drugs, McCain, Van Houtte, and Knix.

Some people revealed the retailers they don't trust instead of the ones they do trust.

"Amazon, I do all my best window shopping there," one person said.

Another person said they "trust" that Tim Hortons will "always" mess up orders.

A lot of rankings of Canada's most trusted and respected brands, retailers and companies have been released over the last few years.

It turns out that some of the retailers that people told Narcity they trust the most have also topped those rankings recently.

These were Canada's most respected retailers in 2023, according to a study by Maru Group:

  1. Canadian Tire
  2. Costco
  3. Staples
  4. Best Buy
  5. Dollarama

These were the most trusted brands and retailers in Canada for 2022, according to the Gustavson Brand Trust Index:
