There's a monthly summer forecast that has everything you need to know about the season in each province.

It includes when there will be heat, sunshine, thunderstorms, and even cool temperatures.

With this month-by-month forecast, the Old Farmer's Almanac has revealed details for June, July and August 2025.

So, here's what Canada's weather will be like in every province this summer.

British Columbia

B.C.'s weather in June will start with a few showers but then turn sunny. It will be warm in the north and cool in the south.

The second week of the month is forecast to have rainy periods followed by sunshine as temperatures turn mild.

Then, temperatures will cool and more rain moves in. June ends with sunshine that's interrupted by showers and cool temperatures.

At the beginning of July, scattered showers and cool temperatures are in the forecast.

Then, there will be a few thunderstorms in the north and sun in the south during the second week of the month. It will get warmer.

Sunny and hot temperatures take over in the east near the end of July with a few isolated showers. It'll be cooler in western parts of B.C.

The month of July will end with a few showers and cool temperatures.

August will start with sunny and warm weather conditions, but then temperatures will cool down.

It's forecast that the rest of the month will switch between rain showers, sunshine and cool temperatures for the rest of the month.

But as August ends, temperatures are expected to warm up in B.C.

Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba

June in the Prairies is forecast to start with sunny and mild weather.

Then, thunderstorms will move into eastern parts of the region while the west is sunny and mild.

Warm temperatures are set to blanket the region as isolated and "heavy" thunderstorms hit the east and west, respectively.

The month is expected to end with sunshine in the east and isolated rain showers, but mild temperatures in the west.

At the beginning of July, the weather in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba will be sunny and "very mild."

Those temperatures continue for the next few weeks, but rain showers and thunderstorms will move in.

It's expected to get "very warm" in the east near the end of the month.

July will end with "heavy" thunderstorms but mild temperatures, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac.

The weather in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba is forecast to be rainy in August.

It starts with rain showers and thunderstorms. Then, in the middle of the month, a few "heavy" thunderstorms are expected.

Near the end of August, it will be sunny in eastern parts of the Prairies but stormy in the west.

The last few days of the month are expected to be sunny with temperatures warming up.

Ontario

Ontario's weather in June is forecast to start with sun in the north but rain and thunderstorms in the south. It will be chilly, but then temperatures will warm up.

The middle of the month will be warm, but you should expect rain and thunderstorms.

June is set to end with sunshine interrupted by showers. Temperatures will be warm, though.

In July, the weather will be sunny, rainy and warm during the first week of the month.

Then, "heavy" thunderstorms are expected for the next three weeks.

It's expected that the strong storms will ease at the end of July. Ontario is set to be rainy but warm.

August in Ontario is forecast to start with showers in the north and sunny, mild weather in the south.

There will be thunderstorms each week after that and only a few sunny breaks. It's set to be "very warm" in the middle of the month.

Then, August is expected to end the same way it started, with rain showers in the north and sunny, mild conditions in the south.

Quebec

June in Quebec is forecast to flip between showery and cool conditions and sunny and warm weather.

You can expect the warmth during the first full weekend of June and the third week of the month.

According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, July will start with scattered thunderstorms and cool temperatures.

There will be rain showers or thunderstorms throughout the rest of the month, but it will be warm. Then, temperatures are set to get hot at the end of July.

In August, it's forecast to be cool and stormy at the beginning of the month. That's expected to be interrupted by sunshine and hot temperatures for a week.

Then, the month will end with a bit of rain before it gets sunny and warm again.

New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI and Newfoundland

The forecast for June in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, P.E.I. and Newfoundland is a battle between sunshine and rain.

It will be rainy and sunny to start the month with warmth in eastern parts of the region and cool temperatures in the west.

Isolated thunderstorms and "very warm" temperatures are expected in the middle of June. However, the month is set to end with rain and cool conditions.

July is expected to start with cooler temperatures and showers before it gets sunny and warm.

Rain and cool temperatures in the east and thunderstorms and warm conditions in the west will move in at the end of the month.

The Old Farmer's Almanac has forecast a few rain showers, heavy at times, and cool temperatures for the first few weeks of August.

It will warm up in the west after that, but be rainy and cool in the east.

Then, August is set to end with a few rain showers and warm temperatures.
