You can discover a hidden cherry blossom paradise just a road trip from Toronto. With endless blushing petals and gorgeous spring views, it's like a fairy tale come to life.
Cherry blossoms will soon bloom across the province, transforming streets and parks into pink wonderlands.
High Park is one of the most popular spots to see the blooms, but you can also find some gorgeous cherry blossom trees at this destination, just a road trip from the city.
The Royal Botanical Gardens is the place to be if you want to enjoy spring flowers. The attraction is home to a dreamy collection of sakura trees that will whisk you away to a floral dream.
At the RBG's Arboretum in Hamilton, you'll find the flowering cherry circle — a group of trees planted in a circle. According to the website, it's one of the Garden's "most iconic spring sights," so you'll want to have your camera ready.
As the petals begin to fall, "the surrounding grassy area looks like it is covered in pink confetti."
The Arboretum holds most of RBG's cherry blossom collection, which can be found just south of the Lilac Dell. A few trees are also located by the Rock Garden Visitor Centre. According to Inside Halton, the RBG boasts around 220 cherry blossom trees throughout the Arboretum and Rock Garden sites.
Cherry blossom season typically takes place from late April to early May. You can keep an eye on the RBG's blossom watch to find out when these beautiful trees are expected to bloom this year.
