Spring is here, and soon, the landscapes will be adorned with stunning pink blooms. If you're looking for a unique way to celebrate cherry blossom season, you'll want to hop aboard this scenic train ride near Toronto. With themed dishes and beautiful spring views, it's an enchanting way to get in the spring spirit.

The Waterloo Central Railway is hosting a Cherry Blossom Dinner Train experience on May 3, 2025.

Located just over an hour from Toronto, the journey takes you through the picturesque spring countryside between the charming towns of St. Jacobs and Elmira.

Along the way, you can enjoy a feast in the cozy Lounge Car, complete with cherry-inspired treats.

The menu includes a Cherry Blossom cocktail, spinach salad with candied cherries, and a choice between chicken with a creamy mushroom sauce or butternut squash ravioli in a creamy curry sauce.

No feast is complete without dessert, and you can indulge in more cherry-flavoured delights with dishes like black forest cake and mini cherry pies served with a fruit kebob.

This round-trip train ride departs from the Farmers Market station in St. Jacobs and is 2 hours long.

You can turn this experience into a day trip by exploring the St. Jacobs Farmers' Market or quaint villages of Elmira and St. Jacobs beforehand.

The Waterloo Central Railway is hosting several other spring experiences, including The Easter Egg-spress and Mother's Day High Tea Luncheon.
