An Illinois woman is being accused of stealing over $1.5M in food — mostly chicken wings — and making a local school district pay for it.

Vera Liddell, a 66-year-old Dolton resident, was working as the Director of Food Services at Harvey School District 152 when massive food orders started being placed, according to court documents obtained by FOX7.

A stolen funeral home van was found in Chicago, Illinois, yesterday, but the body that went missing along with it is still not accounted for.

The Rockford Police Department (RPD) tweeted Sunday that Collins & Stone Funeral Home in Rockford, Illinois, had one of its transport vehicles stolen on Saturday with a deceased man inside.

A flight across the country from San Francisco to Chicago was anything but relaxing when a passenger put her hands on a United flight attendant while holding a baby, a TikTok video shows.

User @emily_jeannn published the clip, which received 6.9 million views within 24 hours. In the video you can see the woman, trying to head down the aisle with her child, being stopped by an employee.

In an effort to set a new Guinness World Record, the city of Geneva, IL, located 45 miles away from Chicago, is aiming to host the largest dog wedding ceremony this upcoming month of October, and hundreds of pups — and their pet parents — are invited.

Diamonds in the Ruff, as the event is denominated, will take place on Sunday, October 2 at the Northwestern Medicine Field, and around 180 dog marriages are needed to meet the goal.

Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is now a ticket to a special concert series presented by the City of Chicago.

The City announced on Wednesday that they will be putting on the "Protect Chicago Music Series," a monthly series of music events that can only be accessed by those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with a goal of incentivizing "people to step up and get [a vaccine], especially younger people."
