Edmonton Has Hundreds More COVID-19 Cases Than Calgary & It's Mostly Young People

The numbers are spiking in Edmonton yet again.  

While Calgary had surpassed Edmonton in terms of active COVID-19 cases in Alberta in early September, Edmonton's cases have overtaken Calgary's as of Tuesday, September 22.

Meanwhile, Calgary has 462 active cases of COVID-19, according to government data

As for the cases in Edmonton, 459 of the active ones are people under the age of 40. 

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Calgary has recorded 8,421 cases in total while Edmonton has nearly half of that at 4,484.
