While the COVID-19 pandemic has been stressful for many people around the world, citizens of some countries are apparently struggling more than others.

According to a new poll by the Angus Reid Institute, Canadians are generally less stressed and financially burdened by COVID-19 than our southern neighbours.

Per the findings, Americans are struggling more when it comes to "weathering the relentless financial and health challenges wrought by the pandemic."

40% Of Americans are "very" stressed due to COVID-19

Per the poll's figures, Americans are almost twice as likely to take on major stress than Canadians.

In fact, 40% say they're either "very" or "extremely" stressed due to the pandemic.

Meanwhile, in the True North, only 22% say they're feeling the pressure.

What's more, 46% of Americans are worried about their economic status, while just 28% of Canadians are experiencing similar anxieties.

However, when it comes to common ground, both sides of the border can attest to being tired of wearing a mask and social distancing.

Still, more than half of Canadians believe that our country will pull through after COVID-19.
