"We’re looking at life on the other side of the pandemic this summer."

In an update regarding the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines in Alberta, Jason Kenney and Tyler Shandro announce that 259 pharmacies are now equipped to administer COVID-19 vaccines across the province.

During the update, delivered on Thursday, March 18, both Shandro and Kenney noted they plan to get all adult Albertans a vaccine by the end of June.

"When we said that every Albertan who wants a vaccine will get one by the end of June, it was based in large part on the role of our pharmacies," said Minister Shandro.

"As long as the federal government meets the delivery commitments that they have provided us, we’re looking at life on the other side of the pandemic this summer."

They both reiterated that this goal is entirely dependant on the federal government supplying Alberta with the necessary doses needed to cover everyone.
