Dallas' Klyde Warren Park is receiving an absolutely massive early Christmas present.

The park will soon be the site of the "World's Tallest Interactive Fountain," which will feature an island of stainless steel "trees" that will shoot water up to 55 feet in the air.

Every night, the fountain will come to life with colorful lights sending streams of shimmering water into the air perfectly synchronized to musical soundtracks in a show which rivals that of The Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas.

It will be a signature structure that by day beckons children at play and by night delights visitors with a spectacular show, reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower light show in Paris. Jody Grant, Chairman of the Board of the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation

The massive fountain comes as a $10-million gift from longtime Klyde Warren Park board member Nancy Best and her husband Randy.

Best, who is very clearly a hero in Dallas, has always been known to put the city and the park first.

"That she would offer such an incredible gift to our citizens in a year filled with so many challenges… well, that’s just Nancy,”  said Klyde Warren Park co-founder Sheila Grant.

Designing the fountain is currently underway and is set to be installed in Kylde Warren park in Summer 2021, and it's safe to say the entire city is excited for yet another reason to call Dallas one of the greatest places in the world.
