The times of rushing down waterslides in Colorado's largest water park, Water World, are officially returning this spring.

Park officials announced they will be reopening on May 29 after being closed for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but visitors might not be able to enjoy it the same way they did two years ago due to new precautions.

In order to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, the park says "guests are responsible for observing posted guidelines and state & local requirements at all times during their visit."

Those guidelines include mandatory masks when entering and exiting the park and while inside buildings, limited park attendance and enhanced cleaning procedures.

Masks are however not required when walking between attractions and they are prohibited while in the water or riding a slide.
