American skies lit up with fireworks on Sunday, July 4 in celebration of Independence Day. Meanwhile, former President Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., had his own message for Americans.

"Hope you all had a great 4th Twitter… Even the losers and the haters that said they were moving to Canada," he wrote in a tweet.

While we can't be certain which "losers" and "haters" he's referring to, we're inclined to reflect on November 2020 when Americans were frantically Googling "move to Canada" during the presidential election.

The same search terms also spiked during a presidential debate back in October.

A number of people in the comments have taken the opportunity to remind Donald Trump Jr. that his father had said he would consider leaving the country if he lost the election.
