Per the report, skills in e-commerce, IT, security and healthcare will see the biggest demand for jobs this year.
Additionally, as a result of the global pandemic, the dire need for healthcare workers as well as "sanitation measures" in all work zones have been increased.
The fastest-growing roles in 2021 are:
- Customer service representatives
- Delivery drivers
- Essential retail workers
- Security analysts and architects
- Administrative assistants
- Procurement and supply chain specialists
- IT and support desk specialists
- Warehouse workers
- Cleaners and maintenance workers
- Registered nurses
With Canadians working from home in record numbers as well as more than ever before, remote jobs have taken center stage in the job market.
