The GTA will get anywhere from 5 to 10 cm of snow on Tuesday, accompanied by -6 C wind chills, reports The Weather Network.

"It looks like most of the GTA south of Highway 401 and 407 will be closer to the 10 CM mark rather than 5 CM," said Weather Network meteorologist Dr. Doug Gillham.

The snowfall will apparently be heaviest through the late morning into early afternoon.

Drivers are cautioned to plan ahead before leaving the house on Tuesday, as road conditions could be hazardous.

Throughout the rest of the week, Toronto will be getting some seriously cold weather.

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are meant to feel like -11 C, -15 C, and -13 C, respectively, according to TWN.

These are forecasted to be the chilliest temperatures that the city has experienced so far this winter.
