Next time you're on the streets of 6ix, you may just stumble across some extra cash. \nOne man has released a series of Toronto TikToks in early January that show him leaving money across the city. \nEditor's Choice: New Data Has Just Revealed That These 16 Canadian Cities Are 'Unaffordable'\n\n\nIn the videos, the creator, Benjamin Wasylina, can be seen duct-taping $10 and $20 bills to poles with hints on where his audience can find them. \nThe initiative has resulted in some of the videos being watched over 800,000 times. \nIn an interview with Narcity, Wasylina stated that he started the money hunt challenges as a way to "get people excited and outside safely during these tough times."\nHe started off by reportedly hiding money in locations that were convenient to him, but after the videos become popular, he knew he had to up his game. \n"I knew that I had to find a hiding spot near a popular landmark that people could easily relate to and identify, so I decided to choose the CN Tower."\nNow, Wasylina states that he's even hidden money where people in his comments have requested it. \nHowever, if you're looking to participate in the challenge, you'll have to wait a little longer. \n\nWasylina stated that he has put the series on a brief hold due to Ontario's stay-at-home orders, but plans to pick it up again as soon as it's safe to do so. \n"Once the stay-at-home order for Ontario comes to an end I hope to continue uploading money hunt challenges. I plan on keeping this series going as long as people are still interested," he stated. \nWasylina claims that he's looking to expand the series to other parts of Ontario as well.
