In a new statement, Transport Canada confirmed that all passengers entering the country must now provide result prior to boarding.
Making a false declaration under the Interim Order carries the potential for a fine of up to $5,000 for individuals.
All incoming travellers must share details about where they got the test,like their name and date of birth.
Failure to provide accurate testing details, or giving false documentation, could result in fines of up to $5,000 confirmed the government agency.
In addition, anybody who’s suspected of giving false or misleading information will have their information handed over to Transport Canada.
