Liam Gossett, 5, certainly made Santa's nice list this year, but he's more concerned about other kids getting gifts than himself. With Christmas just a few weeks away, Liam braved the Tennessee cold over the weekend to make an idea he had a reality. Ashley Gossett "He just said he wanted to make a hot chocolate stand and raise money so he could buy presents for kids for Christmas," Liam's mother, Ashley Gossett, shared with Narcity. So, that's exactly what Liam did. Gossett shared her son's plans on her Facebook page and the 5-year-old set up a hot chocolate and cookie stand with the purest intentions at heart. At the end of it all, Liam raised $1,400. "We had a constant line of people coming," shared Gossett. Liam and his family are using the money to put presents under the Christmas tree of a local single mother and her three kids. Though he's young, Liam knows what it's like to go through hard times — he and his two sisters were adopted by the Gossetts through the foster care system earlier this year. "He’s overcome so much in the last year alone and I think he realizes that other kids go through hardships too," said Liam's proud mom. Liam loved being able to help others so much that he's already planning to run his hot chocolate stand next year.
