You Can Watch A Huge New Year's Eve Fireworks Show From The Top Of A Mountain In Tennessee

Scream it from the mountaintop — GOODBYE 2020!
Contributor

Say goodbye (and good riddance) to 2020 from the top of a mountain at SkyLift Park in Tennessee.

You can ring in 2021 by watching a spectacular fireworks show from hundreds of feet above Gatlinburg.

Editor's Choice: North America's Longest Pedestrian Suspension Bridge Turned Into A Walk-Thru Light Show

And you won’t have to look up to see New Year's Eve fireworks — you’ll pretty much be eye level with them.

On December 31, New Year's guests will ascend the mountain via a scenic chairlift to wait for the stroke of midnight.

Once at the summit, you'll be looking straight out at the fireworks and have the best view of Gatlinburg's ball drop at the iconic Space Needle.

While you wait for the big countdown, you can explore the park's SkyDeck and SkyBridge as you look out over the city lights.

The Gatlinburg SkyBridge is North America's longest pedestrian suspension bridge and it's currently decked out in twinkling Christmas lights for a walk-thru light show 150 feet in the air.

If you get chilly up on the mountain, you can warm up around a fire pit or enjoy a warm drink before the fireworks light up the sky at midnight.
