Google Is Opening Up Its First Ever In-Person Store & It Looks Absolutely Massive

It opens up this summer!

Staff Writer

One of the world's biggest tech companies is taking things offline. There's a brand-new Google store opening in New York this summer and it's the company's first-ever physical retail location.

Part of the "Google Campus" in Chelsea, which houses 11,000 employees, the storefront will take up a full block at 76 Ninth Ave.

Google says customers will be able to browse through an "extensive selection" of its products or order online and pick up their products in person.

And there will be Google employees on hand to work with customers who need help setting up a new phone or fixing a broken device.

There's no date for when the store will open — other than "Summer 2021" — but Google says the store will implement health guidelines like physical distancing, masks, hand sanitation and regular cleaning.
