Canada's Office of the Chief Electoral Officer is hiring for various administrative positions in Ottawa, Ontario and Gatineau, Quebec.

The pay is from $61,786 to $69,106 or from $68,849 to $74,180 depending on which position you get hired for and how long the work term is.

You could get a temporary (casual) or specified period (term) job that requires you to work for between three and 12 months.

Canada's Office of the Chief Electoral Officer is looking to hire for 80 positions.

These admin positions include:

  • administrative officer
  • call centre agent
  • human resources advisor
  • project assistant
  • senior accounting clerk
  • electoral coordination officer
  • field support network officer
  • team lead

To get hired, you need a high school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Experience providing administrative support services or experience providing client services is required as well.

Then, it's considered an asset if you have:

  • experience using Microsoft Excel or other similar spreadsheet software
  • experience working in a call centre
  • experience providing human resources services
  • experience providing financial services
  • knowledge of digital media and online research tools, techniques and principles
  • proficiency in languages such as Tagalog, Arabic, Punjabi, Urdu, Farsi, Russian, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Indigenous languages and other languages commonly spoken in Canadian homes
