The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said to check if you have recalled products and not to consume, serve, use, sell, or distribute them.

Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to where they were purchased.

If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, you're being told to contact your healthcare provider.

Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes might not look or smell spoiled, but can still make you sick.

Symptoms include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness.

According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, pregnant people, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are "particularly at risk."

Even though infected pregnant people may experience only mild flu-like symptoms, the infection can lead to premature delivery, infection of the newborn or stillbirth.

In severe cases of illness related to Listeria monocytogenes, there is the possibility of death.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is conducting a food safety investigation that could lead to the recall of other products.
