Jagmeet Singh's Campaign Speech Was Just Interrupted By ‘Trolls’ With A Megaphone

"'Folks, we might give it a quick sec." 😨

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh was forced to respond to "trolls" with a megaphone on Monday, as he attempted to deliver a campaign speech in Toronto.

Speaking just one day after a snap election in Canada was called, the party leader had barely started speaking before a voice through a megaphone interrupted him.

"'Folks, we might give it a quick sec," he said, before adding, "Nah, it's OK, just some trolls. It's all good."

Although it's unclear what the protestor was shouting towards Singh, the interruptions continued persistently throughout his 25-minute policy statement. The noise then stepped up a notch as the NDP leader answered questions from journalists.

Acknowledging the significant disturbance at the end of his speech, Singh said, "Thank you so much, thanks for your patience." He concluded, "It's all good, we'll get some trolls here and there, it's all good."
