Jagmeet Singh Opened Up About The Financial Struggles He's Gone Through

He said there were "lots of ups and downs."

While on a late-night talk show, Jagmeet Singh revealed the financial difficulties he's gone through in his life.

During A Little Late With Lilly Singh, he was asked to tell people a little bit about himself and he got personal.

He started off by talking about his job as the NDP leader and how he believes that if someone is struggling then we all struggle too.

Then he shared that he's also gone through struggles himself.

"I know what it's like to face financial difficulty, we went through lots of ups and downs, lost our home," Singh said.

He noted that he remembers those struggles and thinks about how we can all "fight for a better world."

Singh went through other topics while on the late-night talk show.

He talked about how he confronts hate with love, what's going on with the farmers' protests in India and even played a game about odd Canadian and American laws.
