Things are looking up, at least for Justin Trudeau's approval rating, according to the latest number from Angus Reid

The number of people who approve of the prime minister has risen again to 49% for November 2020.

This comes after the WE scandal in the summer knocked it down to 44%.

49% Justin Trudeau's approval rating

While an increase is good news for Trudeau, 49% overall approval means that just over half the country either is unsure or does not support the current leader.

According to Angus Reid, while just 11% of respondents strongly approved of the PM, 33% of respondents strongly disapproved of him.

Meanwhile, 37% of respondents moderately approved, 16% moderately disapproved, and 3% were unsure.

The poll also showed that people are pretty split about who they would vote for were there an election right now.

The data shows that if Canadians went to the polls today, 35% would vote Liberal but Conservatives aren't very far behind with 33% of respondents supporting that party.
