In Justin Trudeau's birthday post for Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, the prime minister shared a sweet message that talked about how great of a partner his wife is.

He posted a photo of the two of them looking at each other and smiling underneath their masks while at their vaccine appointment on Friday.

Trudeau wished his wife a happy birthday and called her his "closest friend and the best partner anyone could ask for."

"Sophie, mon amour, je t'aime," he said.

In a video Trudeau posted after they both got a vaccine dose, he said that getting the dose a day before Grégoire Trudeau's birthday was "a bit of a birthday present" for her.
