It's official — Justin Trudeau's AstraZeneca vaccine dose was administered and he shared a sweet moment with his wife before getting the needle.

He and Sophie Grégoire Trudeau both got their first dose of the vaccine at their local Rexall on April 23 and since it was administered in Trudeau's upper arm, his tattoo was visible when he rolled up the sleeve of his t-shirt.

Right before he got the vaccine, Trudeau turned to his wife and asked, "Will you hold my hand?"

He also asked her to squeeze it and she did the whole time the dose was being administered.

Afterwards, Trudeau gave two thumbs up and then moved over so Grégoire Trudeau could get hers. However, she didn't need to hold his hand during her turn, which made them both laugh.
