This Miami Bar Serves Up Unlimited Mimosas & The Wildest Drag Brunch You'll Ever See

This hotspot is meant for queens!
Contributor

Oh, so you wanted a show? Miami Beach's Palace Bar is undoubtedly the top contender for the "wildest brunch in town," if there ever were such a category. It's a scene that truly has to be seen to believed.

For the past 32 years, the drag brunch at Palace Bar has been the star of the show on sultry Ocean Drive. This a massive feat, given that every establishment on the main strip battle to be the center of attention.

The bar's motto is "Every Queen Needs A Palace," and this spot is certainly fit for a queen. Their Drag Brunches are the stuff of legend on this glittering strip. Finding one of the performers hanging upside-down from a sign is standard theatrics here.

Everything seems out of the ordinary at Palace Bar, and that's the beauty of this trendy bar. From the service to the performers themselves is a show that should have a regular feature on MTV.

Brunch here will reach into "R-rated" territory, but that's what makes this place scandalously fun. These in-your-face performances are what you come to Miami for; an unadulterated good time just being yourself while sipping on unlimited mimosas.

There are many places on Ocean Drive where you can go and have a truly wild time on the beach, but none compare to the Palace.

Opening around the same time Miami Vice was on the air, it changed the way people viewed Miami Beach. This bar was the perfect addition, adding some much-needed spice to the sun-baked strip.

Decades later, the experience that many are treated to has not lost its luster. The queens show here are just as fierce, and the clientele still flocks to the Palace Bar to get their fix.

The one thing that has changed over the years is that people can now openly celebrate being themselves, making the Palace Bar that much more of a South Florida landmark.
