This Adult Playground In Miami Officially Reopened & It's A Real Life Candyland

It's the ultimate sugar rush.
Contributor

When you enter through its golden gates, you'll feel like you're in sweet-tooth haven. Candytopia in Miami reopens after spending the last three months shuttered. This colorful palace is a bit of sweetness to the Magic City.

Strolling through this sweet utopia, Candytopia will have you feeling like you're walking through a real-life game of Candyland. It feels almost like a dream world. That's one of the major draws of this wonderland, where everything feels colorful, cheery, and bright with no end in sight.

Everything there is super-sized to make you feel as if you're in a candy-infused dreamworld. The colossal candyfloss creations that are a tad bit twisted in its surrealness goes hand-and-hand with the persona of Miami.

You can go through a rainbow-inspired tunnel, check out art creations made entirely out of candy. Heck, you can even feel like an Ice Queen, or King, on a gnarly throne overlooking your sprawling sweet-toothed kingdom.

The highlight of this candy-induced dreamworld is a giant pit of 300,000 marshmallows that you can dive right into. Literally, this pool of fluffy goodness will have you feeling like you're a kid all over again.

As with all attractions in COVID-19 world, Candytopia has taken extra measures to ensure that this sweet world won't turn sour. The complex has shortened its hours, limited the size of groups that can pass through its gates, and modified the marshmallow pit experience.

Another huge change is that you'll have to purchase the golden ticket in advance as they will not be taking any walk-in visitors. Also, you won't be able to help yourself to candy outright. Their super sweet staff will distribute all samples.

Changes are a chore, but Candytopia makes the changes worth it with its giant displays and devotion to everything candy. If you ever wanted to know what it feels like to go through Willy Wonka's factory, this spot will be pretty close to the real thing without the Oompa Loompas.
