You can step into a real-life scene from a Christmas film at this enchanting small town in Ontario. With cozy charm, twinkly lights, holiday attractions and even some frosty waterfalls, this storybook village is where Netflix's festive magic comes to life.

The destination served as a filming location for a Christmas movie and you'll be transported into a world of holiday enchantment as you wander along the quaint streets and soak up the festive cheer.

Bracebridge, Ontario is a picturesque destination nestled in the heart of Muskoka. It's a gorgeous spot to visit year-round, but the Christmas season adds an extra bit of magic to the scene.

The town is so festive, it was actually featured in the Netflix Christmas film The Knight Before Christmas which was released in 2019.


Scenes from the movie, starring Vanessa Hudgens, were filmed in downtown Bracebridge and at Santa's Village, a festive amusement park featuring rides and holiday-themed experiences.

Throughout the month of December, you can enjoy the Muskoka Christmas event at Santa's Village, which features dazzling lights, holiday decor and attractions like a magical train ride.

Bracebridge is a charming spot to get some holiday shopping done and soak up small town charm. The town is known as the "waterfall capital of Muskoka" and is home to three of the region's stunning cascades.
