Netflix’s New Teen Thriller Series Is Like A Mix Of ‘Elite’ & ‘13 Reasons Why’
This might get messy! A thrilling teen series is coming to the streaming platform so soon and you'll want to tune in to follow some dark high school adventures. Call your BFFs and stock up on snacks for Netflix's Get Even because it looks like it's going to be a bumpy ride.
Netflix Futures recently debuted the trailer for the upcoming show that follows a group of unlikely pals attending the same private elite school.

"Four teen enemies band together to exact revenge on their bullies until they get blamed for a crime they didn't commit. Will they get mad--or get even?" Netflix writes.
In the video, a female narrator explains, "I don't know if we're the victims or the villains. None of us could've guessed how bad things would get."
She continues, "The world we were in needed changing. It looked pretty from the outside but underneath, it was cold and unfair. We just couldn't be okay with that."
According to MEAWW, the 10-part series was adapted from a novel of the same name written by Gretchen McNeil.
It follows characters Kitty Wei (played by Kim Adis), Bree Deringer (Mia McKenna-Bruce), Margot Rivers (Bethany Antonia), and Olivia Haye (Jessica Alexander).
In order to keep their anonymity while exposing their cruel bullies, the girls form a group called DGM aka Don't Get Mad, Get Even.
"I don't want to be arrogant but we nailed it. The only thing we had in common was we wanted justice," the narrator adds.
Their method of humiliating the bullies? Through some pretty clever pranks.
The practical jokes are "intended to expose the bullies' nasty ways, but things turn awry when their latest target, Ronny, ends up dead. Despite doing their best to deliver justice, they find themselves framed for his murder," per MEAWW.
In a terrible turn of events, the girls must band together to expose the real killer in order to clear their names, while still dealing with the normal difficulties of high school life.
"It's like Mean Girls, only worse," one girl adds in the trailer.
The British series actually had its premiere in February 2020 on BBC iPlayer but is now moving over to its new home on Netflix.
On Google, 96% of users claim to have liked the show, while it has a 6.8/10 on IMDb.
