Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is going to be even more fun starting in the Spring of 2021.

The Funplex, an amusement park company, announced yesterday that it’s breaking ground on a brand new park just steps from the beach.

The Funplex Myrtle Beach will feature seven thrill rides, a walk-up bar and a restaurant.

Among the seven rides will be North America’s first and tallest interactive 360-degree flying jet ride.

The amusement park will be designed with a tropical theme to match the vibes of Myrtle Beach.

Off-the-Coast Beach Bar and Grill — the park’s two-sided walk-up eatery & bar — will have a full menu of traditional bar and seafood options.

Located just steps from the beach, the 21+ crowd can walk right up to the bar for a beer or a custom frozen drink.

The Funplex, which has two existing parks in New Jersey, plans for the park to be open in Spring 2021.
