Doug Ford just announced that Ontario's bar and restaurant are permitted to reopen in York, Ottawa and Peel this weekend.

However, these food joints will look a little different when they start to welcome guests back indoors.

The COVID-19 Response Framework states that select regions will be placed into a new orange category.

4 allowed at a table

The modified section allows indoor dining to resume at bars and restaurants with stricter rules.

Some of these new changes include shorter curfews, limited capacities, and required screenings.

Food joints will now be required to close at 10 p.m. and alcohol will not be sold after 9 p.m.

On top of this, only four people will be permitted to sit at a table, with a total of 50 people in the establishment altogether.

Gyms and cinemas will also be permitted to reopen under restrictions.

The new guidelines will come into effect on November 7, 2020, for these three regions.

Indoor dining had previously been shut down for the province's hot spots on October 10, 2020.
