New locations offering COVID-19 tests

Stores offering the service in Ottawa will include the Shoppers Drug Mart on Bank Street, Walkley Road and Montreal Road.

Both locations on Carling Avenue will also offer free testing.

The aim, according to the premier, is to take pressure off Ontario's assessment centres.

Multiple locations have had hour-long wait times and lengthy lines, with some reaching capacity within minutes of opening.
