At least eight more Ontarians have tested positive for COVID-19 after attending a large wedding in Oshawa

The ceremony, which saw more than 50 people gather at the Caribbean Cultural Centre on September 19, has resulted in an outbreak of the disease.

Durham Region Health Department is reportedly "having difficulty" obtaining a full list of attendees and their contact information.

Health Department officials have been in contact with two local workplaces that were affected by the incident.

Anyone who attended the wedding is being asked to call the Health Department at 905-668-4113 ext. 2680.

This isn't the first ceremony of love that has ended in positive cases.

Back in September, York Region Public Health confirmed that at least 23 people had contracted COVID-19 after attending a large wedding in Toronto.
