This breathtaking turquoise beach with crystal-clear water is the 'Caribbean of Ontario'

You don't need a plane ticket to experience this dreamy destination.

You don't need to get on a plane to enjoy a taste of the Caribbean. Ontario has its own version of this tropical paradise, and it looks like it was plucked from the front of a postcard.

Boasting crystal-clear waters with turquoise hues, majestic limestone cliffs and enchanting scenery, this dreamy destination will have you forgetting you're in Canada.

Indian Head Cove is a breathtaking destination located along Georgian Bay in Tobermory's Bruce Peninsula National Park. The beautiful inlet is renowned for its white boulder beach and water so vibrant that it's hard to believe it's in Ontario.

According to Ontario Adventure Tours, it's referred to as the "Caribbean of Ontario," and with its glass-like waters and dreamy hues, it's easy to see why.

You can go for a dip in the azure waters, but don't expect them to feel as tropical as they look. The water is quite chilly, allowing for a refreshing swim on hot summer days.

Indian Head Cove is situated next to the Grotto — an iconic sea cave filled with a pool of turquoise water.

The two attractions can be reached by hiking for about half an hour from Cyprus Lake.

Reservations are required for parking to access the Grotto and Indian Head Cove from May 1 to October 31. You can book a timeslot on the Parks Canada website.

Until September 2, Parks Canada is offering free admission, but you'll still need to make a reservation in advance.

With tropical vibes and stunning views, the "Caribbean of Ontario" is worth a visit — no passport required!
