There's nothing like escaping the crowds and experiencing some of Ontario's dreamy hidden gems. The province has so many secret locations worth exploring and these local spots were just ranked among the best in the country.

Tour Operator and Software Provider Bókun recently revealed the nine best hidden gems in Canada. The study used TripAdvisor to analyze over 1,000 destinations worldwide with the keyword "hidden gem."

Each spot was given a percentage score based on the number of reviews it received.

If you're looking for a unique adventure, you'll want to check out these three Ontario hidden gems which were named among the nine best in Canada.

Martello Alley in Kingston came in at number three on the list with 6.70% of reviews calling it a hidden gem. According to Visit Kingston, this destination is "an art themed historic alley" located in the city's downtown.

The flower-filled nook has all sorts of unique works to explore and comes with European vibes.

The next Ontario spot on the list was Rattray Marsh Conservation Area at number six with a score of 6.15%. Located in Mississauga, the area is home to a winding boardwalk trail that leads to a rare cobble beach.

The final Ontario hidden gem to make the cut was Parkwood National Historic Site in Oshawa, with a score of 3.11%. The estate was once lived in by the founder of General Motors of Canada and offers stunning gardens, a tea room and more.
