A "fearless advocate." John Lewis's death has prompted tributes and memories to pour in on social media, including one from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The civil rights icon and U.S congressman was 80 years old when he died after a battle with cancer.

Canada's PM shared his thoughts on Lewis in a tweet praising his life's work.
"John Lewis was a fearless advocate for what he knew to be true, and he never stopped fighting for equality and justice," Trudeau said. "My thoughts are with his family and friends - and all who have been inspired by his work, words, lifetime of service and action, and the good trouble he caused."
Lewis was a leader in the U.S civil rights movement calling for equality for black people. He also served as a congressman for Georgia from 1986 until now.
In 2011, Barack Obama gave him a Presidential Medal of Freedom.
