East-enders, it's time to get excited. There is a new drive-in theatre in Ottawa, and it opens on June 11.

This year the Drive-In Experience Ottawa is expanding to have a second location in the parking lot of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Park.

Get ready to enjoy a retro movie night under the stars, as the drive-in will be playing blockbusters and all your favourite genres like comedy and action.

Plus, they will have fun theme nights, like their Sunday Scaries, where you can watch bone-chilling flicks.

When you go, make sure to bring blankets and pillows. You're welcome to turn your vehicle into a giant bed, so you can lay down while facing the screen.

Tickets are $30 per vehicle plus taxes and fees, so if you are looking for affordable date ideas, this is a great choice.

The Drive-In Experience Ottawa

Price: $30+ per vehicle

When: From Friday, June 11

Address: 300 Coventry Rd., Ottawa, ON

Why You Need To Go: Some of the incredible movies you can watch are Bridesmaids, Jurassic World and Get Out.
