Pfizer Says Its COVID-19 Vaccine Will Protects Teens & Kids As Young As 12
In a new report, Pfizer announced that its COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective in teens and kids as young as 12 years old.
Right now, the majority of vaccines being rolled out globally (and in Canada) are for adults, the Pfizer BioNTech one having a current age threshold of 16 and up.*

On March 31, Pfizer shared details of their study which included 2,260 U.S. volunteers aged between 12 and 15.
The company's preliminary data found there were no cases of COVID-19 among fully vaccinated kids and teens, compared to 18 cases among those given fake shots.
In fact, the company confirmed, “In participants aged 12-15 years old, [the vaccine] demonstrated 100% efficacy and robust antibody responses, exceeding those reported in trials of vaccinated 16-25 year old participants in an earlier analysis.”
