Doug Ducey just went live with his Arizona COVID-19 update, and there's some good news.
He signed an executive order on Thursday, July 16, that delays residential evictions until October 31, 2020.
The order ensures renters impacted by COVID-19 will be able to stay in their homes.
The eviction moratorium was originally set to expire on July 24.
But with this new extension, renters have a few more months in their homes.
Ducey is also setting aside $650K "to Community Action Agencies for additional staff to process rental assistance for those in need."
