Justin Trudeau Doesn’t Want To Tip The US Election Scales So He’s Keeping His Mouth Closed

During an address to the public on Friday, November 6, Justin Trudeau was asked about his opinion on the presidential election currently underway in the United States. 

Throughout the entire process, Trudeau has been consistent in not definitively answering questions of this nature. 

"Even friends can have an influence on public discourse around internal processes that are key to defending democratic institutions," he began.

[...]and that’s why we are going to remain very cautious about making any pronouncements in regards to the electoral processes in the United States until the outcome is sufficiently clear. Justin Trudeau 

The prime minister started by saying that we won't be commenting on the process taking place in the States. 

He said his main interest is looking after Canadians and that he will continue to do as much throughout the process. 

"I know people are eager to see the results, but we’re confident that the American processes are taking place as they should," said Trudeau. 

"We will continue to take a close look at what’s happening in the States, but I don’t what to comment right now."

While Trudeau continues to dodge these sorts of questions, we have no doubt that they'll continue to be asked.
