Dramatic Video Shows Intense Flooding Totally Submerging Parts Of Highway 1 In BC

It's all happening just outside of Revelstoke.

Major flooding has lead to closures of the Trans-Canada Highway near Revelstoke, B.C., says CTV News. 

Photos and footage of the damaging event began to surface online on the evening of Wednesday, July 2.

As of Thursday morning, crews are still working hard to repair the damage and re-open the road if they can do so safely.

The events have been caused by intense rainfall.

Stranded motorists are taking to social media to share their concern and local hotels are filling up fast.
