On Instagram, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau revealed that she had a breast cancer scare a couple of weeks ago.

She said in times of hardship, she likes to keep things real and be vulnerable so that's why she shared her story.

I just wanted to share the fact that a couple weeks ago I had a little scare when it comes to this but I got good news. Sophie Grégoire Trudeau

Grégoire Trudeau took the time to thank frontline workers who take care of women's health and the health of all Canadians when talking about her scare that fortunately ended well.

She also had a message for those who aren't lucky like she was.

"To all the women who do not get good news, we're with you," she said.

Grégoire Trudeau also noted that sharing stories helps to make sure that people don't have to go through breast cancer alone.

She encouraged people to do self-examinations and book a screening if they're due and at the right age.

Then she wished everyone good health and blew a kiss.
