Florida Is Hosting A Huge Cuban Sandwich Festival This Spring & They're Setting A World Record
The highly anticipated Cuban Sandwich Festival is coming to the Floridian cities of Kissimmee and Tampa/Ybor City this spring season.
The festival is free, and it features some of the best Cuban sandwiches from across the globe. You can indulge in dozens of samples of the classic dish.
The event will be held on Sunday, May 7 on Kissimmee, and will feature an attempt to set the world record for the world's biggest Cuban sandwich at 276 ft. long. The end product will be donated and fed to people experiencing homelessness, according to the festival’s website.
This popular celebration will also take place in Tampa/Ybor City on Sunday, May 28.
You can participate in the action. The event will have a wide array of vendors from all over the world, art, live music, and salsa dancing.
The event is open to families and the general community. Additionally, according to the festival’s site, VIP’s, celebrities, community, business, and political leaders will be in attendance.
General admission to the festival is free of charge. However, you can also purchase a VIP experience online so you can enjoy some extra perks when attending the event.
The event will be held at the Kissimmee Lake Front Park in Kissimmee and at the Centennial Park in Tampa.
