A Severed Human Head Was Just Found Near Tampa & Police Are Investigating

This morning, St. Pete Police received a report of a severed human head found on the side of the road.

A jogger discovered it this morning near the intersection of 38th Avenue South and 31st Street South, reporting the crime to police around 7 a.m. The Police Department announced the incident via press release at 8:15 a.m.

St. Petersburg Police are investigating what appears to be the discovery of human remains near the intersection of 38th Ave. S and 31st St. S, after a jogger alerted the department.

At this time, the identity of the victim and who may have committed the crime is under investigation.

Police have since shut down 38th Avenue South and are asking drivers to avoid the area while they investigate.
